FABS (Food and Beverage Services), the official food service of the Norfolk Tides, has openings for the 2008 season for volunteer groups or charitable organizations to raise funds for their organization.

FABS offers a percentage of net revenues to each group that volunteers at each game. Permanent locations in the stadium offer a higher percentage of net revenues.
Each group will be trained by a member of the FABS staff. Knowledge of inventory, sanitation, and some food preparation is preferred but not required.
FABS offers as many as 72 games (the entire season) or as few as 24 games. The higher the commitment, the better revenue generating location or concession stand offered.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS FOR FUNDRAISING GROUPS
In order to qualify as a not-for-profit organization, the volunteer group must provide FABS with the following:
1. Group must provide a copy of their general liability insurance policy in the amount of $1,000,000 each occurrence.
2. Proof of their not-for-profit status (a document from the State Treasurer with a volunteer tax number)
3. A list of volunteers in their group.
4. A letter outlining what their group does and what they intend to do with the money they earn through the program.
A group cannot participate in the not-for-profit program until all of the above criteria has been met.
